This kit is intended for the person who wants to take their Flint & Steel into the wilderness and actually start their campfires with it (like the mountain men did).  The tin is smaller than the Deluxe or Standard tins which makes it easier to carry.   It is packed with char cloth as well as a scaled down high carbon striker and piece of flint.  It is possible to learn the Flint & Steel fire making technique with it, this set is recommended for those who have already learned it.
